If
Emily
had
known
that
her
only
happiness
would
be
in
the
first
twelve
years
of
her
life,
she
would
have
appreciated
it
more.
But
now
it's
too
late,
and
remembering
life
in
Chicago
before
her
father
died
doesn't
help.
She
and
her
mother
have
moved
to
Wisconsin
and
are
running
an
inn
in
Mother's
old
family
home.
Mother
is
no
fun,
and
aside
from
snooping
on
the
guests
from
time
to
time,
Emily
has
nothing
to
do.
Then
she
finds
an
injured
Canada
goose
and
a
sealed
off
attic
room
that's
practically
begging
Emily
to
find
out
its
secrets.
Maybe
her
life
isn't
over
at
twelve,
after
all!

try
to
describe
all
my
books
honestly,
and
will
mention
all
defects,
no
matter
how
minor.
I
am

and

in
a
plastic
bag.
If
you
require
bubble
wrap,
then

me

use
recycled
packaging,
at
no
cost
to
you,
but
I
may
need
to
charge
a
few
cents
extra.
I happily
combine
postage.
Unfortunately
due
to
a
few
unhappy
experiences,
I
have
to
state
quite
clearly
that
no
refunds
will
be
given
unless
you
opt
for
registered
post,
which
is
available
on
request
on
all
items.
Refunds
will
be
given
only
if
an
item
is
not
as
described.
Multiple
items
will
have
postage
automatically
combined
by
me.
Feedback
will
now
no
longer
be
left
until
I
am
sure
you
have
received
the
item.
