This great value VGA box accepts a High Definition YPbPr (Component) signal & automatically converts it to an RGBHV output to suit HDTV's, CRT & LCD Monitors, Projectors plus any other device that can accept an RGBHV signal.

The YPbPr to RGBHV VGA BOX is a wideband 2:1 analog video switch with an integrated YPbPr to RGBHV converter. The device accepts one set of YPbPr (Component) inputs and one set of RGB/HSYNC/VSYNC (PC display card output signal) inputs. Based on the input selected, the output will be either a decoded TV or buffered PC video signal outputted to your monitor.

The unit is fully capable of handling SDTV, HDTV, XGA, SXGA, and UXGA video formats which makes it an ideal solution for a wide range of applications including connection of component devices to PC CRT or LCD Monitors, High Definition TV's, Projectors or anywhere else you need to best possible picture definition. Don't settle for an inferior product that can only handle much lower resolutions.

This unit is specially designed for and has full support for all high definition component inputs including 480p, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p. (Please note: Standard 480i input is supported however the output will also be an interlaced signal which many monitors/displays will not support unless they have inbuilt circuitry to convert the interlaced signal back to progressive scan. For this reason this VGA box is not suitable for older equipment that can't output in a progressive resolution of 480p or above)
