Hi
Llama,
To
get
your
picks
into
the
post
just
use
the
"Direct
Link"
option
NOT
the
[IMG]
option
from
photobucket when
using
the
"Insert
Image"
button from
the
forum
toolbar.
I
must
confess
that
I
am
no
Guru
on
photography
matters
and
am
still
learning,
but
really
like
how
digital
camera's
have
given
us
more
freedom
to
experiment
with
our
pics
with
no
cost.
As
for
your
pic
and
why
mine
seems clearer
and
more
focused.............
I
actually
managed
to
download
your
pic
before
you
removed
the
link
so
have
had
a
look
at
it
so
I
can
compare
a
couple
things.........Here's
what
I
reckon.
There
are
two
things
noticed
with
your
pic......
Some
"noise"
and
"blurring".
According
to
the
file
properties,
you
used
"Auto"
and
your camera
chose
Aperture
F2.8
&
ISO400
Exposure.
F2.8
has
probably
caused
the
blurring
as
your
this
has
reduced
your
"Depth
of
Field"
to
a
minimum.
DOF
is
very
important
for
macro's
as
anything
outside
this
area
will
not
be
focused
right.
In
general,
a
higher
F
number
the
better
for
better
DOF.
ISO400
has
probably
caused
the
"Noise"
problem
as the
longer
exposure
magnifies any
noise issues.
The
higher
the
ISO,
the
more
possibility
of
noise.
I
think
your
camera
has
chosen
these
settings
due
to
lack
of
light.
It
has
basically
used
the
max
aperture
&
high
exposure.....double
trouble
for
macro
photo's
really.
In
comparison,
my
photo
is
F5.0
/
ISO64
I
was
in
FULL
sunlight.
I
also
used
Auto
settings,
but
did
use
an
additional snap
on
macro
lens
to
increase
maginification
further.
I
think
good
lighting
is
essential
so
if
your
subject
is
in
the
shade,
then
you
might
need
some
artificial
lighting.
Hope
this
all
makes
sense
to
you.
