Wow oh my gosh...
I heard the conspiracies about the H1N1 vaccine is for population reduction and spreading of the swine flu. But i have never seen so many comments on miscarriages in my life.
http://miscarriage.about.com/b/2009/09/29/some-pregnant-women-fearful-of-h1n1-vaccine.htm#gB3

scroll down to the comments section and so many replies by women who have miscarried from the vaccines and no mention of it yet in cdc.

For each one of those 10-15 women there would be tens of thousands of woman who have no problems after getting the vaccine.

Yeah legs is right there

I agree with legs and there is no proof that the miscarriages were due to the vaccination. It could be coincidental. They may have been going to miscarriage anyway. One lady commented that she had two previously successful pregnancies but i know a lot of people that have had several successful ones and then had a miscarriage. I am one of them. I have 3 babies and then a miscarriage. You would also have to ask what would the babies chances of survival be if you actually got the flu and had to have medication. Surely that wouldn't be good either

You would have to look at the rate of miscarriage in the general population and compare it with the rate in the people who have had the vaccine to find if there is any real difference, you would probably find that those who had a miscarriage after having the H1N1 vaccine were looking for a reason, when more often than not, there is none. and the rate is no higher than for anyone else.

The CDC would be studying this very closely, they would not release results until they are certain that there is a problem or not. Miscarriage is more common than anyone realises.

You know this saying oh it could be a coincidence for everything to do with vaccinations, if you have a gardasil vaccination
and two days later, heart mumor or not you have a heart attack and die.I think theres a link. If these woman had the flu vaccination and a couple of days later miscarried, its more likely to do with the vaccination than co-incidence.
People that died from the swine flu, the report was always oh they had other health complaints which contributed. Not
they got sick from the swine flu and died.
I'd like to see people on both sides of the debate on this vaccination or other, just acknowledge that people have died,
or ended up with a serious side effects from vaccinations. But the large majority of the people that have vaccinations,
have no or minor side effects.

Perhaps but why are some people allergic to say some forms of antibiotics and some not. If you were pregnant and didn't have the vaccine and you caught the flu and your baby died. Would that be any better?

UNfortunately  we are all unknown factors and there are always going to be casualties
Dammed if you do,   dammed if you don't
There are even those who die under anasthetic because they are allergic to one of the componants,  but how do you know befare the op?

Its probably best to stick to facts in a lot of cases and the facts as I know them are..

6000 people world wide have died of swine flu
Swine flu vaccination is made from a live virus and remains untested.
The swine flu vaccination process is made the same way as other live virus vaccinations so its presumed to be safe.

Its a hard one cause theyre claiming pregnant woman are the most at risk, of swine flu. They want to protect there
bub but if there is a risk of misscarriage then they also should be informed. That by having this vaccination there is
that possibility.
Its similar to there was a particular test done on pregnant women to check the baby, cant remember what its called
but alot of women that had the test maybe to test for down syndrome or something they misscarried.
Very sad.

I think 100+ people died from the swine flu this year in Australia. I guess we will see with this vaccination, the level
of side effects/ deaths involved.

6000 worldwide?  it's hardly a pandemic

Pandemic: An epidemic (a sudden outbreak) that becomes very widespread and affects a whole region, a continent, or the world.

Nothing about the number of casualties.

Buzooki:

"those who had a miscarriage after having the H1N1 vaccine were looking for a reason,"

As harsh as it may sound, this is a very valid point. Miscarriage is a sad and traumatic experience, no matter how many times it happens, or when.

Hi Spice,
Yes, it is a natural thing to do. Miscarriage is so traumatic and heartbreaking, you want to know why, and you look at everything you have done, taken, been near, etc. to try to find a reason.
I just finished a course on epidemiology, which is medical research, and while there is remote possibility that it may cause miscarriage, you would really have to compare it to the normal rate of miscarriage to know for certain.

Well, I'm doing my bit, starz. I haven't and won't breed.

However I fail to see what this has to do with pig flu.

And if the vaccine DOES cause miscarriage, which I doubt, wouldn't that be all to the good in the quest to reduce population?
