Herbs
and
Spices
-
Week
2
Part
1
|
Greeting
everyone.
Thanks
to
everyone
who
posted
the
positive
comments
last
week
for
edition
1
and
also
to
the
folks
who
emailed.
Glad
you
enjoyed
it.
This
is
broken
into
a
couple
of
sections
because
posts
can
only
be
so
big
so
dont
forget
to
check
out
parts
1,
2
etc
This
week
we
are
going
to
get
up
close
and
personal
with
Rosemary.
Thats
the
herb
Rosemary
...not
the
pretty
little
chicky
babe
around
the
corner
!
(Yes
there
is
a
Rosemary
around
the
corner
from
me
hehe
)
The
rosemary
bush
belongs
to
the
mint
family
which
includes
basil,
lavender,
myrtle,
and
sage
and
can
be
used
for
both
culinary
and
cosmetic
applications
.
Grab
a
sprig
and
lightly
bruise
it
then
pop
it
into
your
shampoo
bottle.
It
not
only
smells
great
but
is
VERY
good
for
your
hair
and
scalp.
Growing
Rosemary
is
a
no
brainer.
You
can
grow
rosemary
plants
outdoors
in
your
garden,
or
indoors
in
containers.
Either
way,
it
is
an
easy
plant
to
grow
and
maintain.
Dont
bother
trying
to
grow
it
from
seed.
Pop
down
the
nursery
and
get
an
all
ready
growing
one
for
a
couple
of
dollars!
Choose
a
spot
in
your
garden
with
full
sun
.
Rosemary
will
thrive
in
sandy,
well-drained
soil.
Alternatively,
you
can
plant
your
rosemary
in
pots
and
keep
them
in
a
sunny
window.
Give
the
pots
a
turn
from
time
to
time
so
it
gets
an
even
exposure
to
the
sunlight.
