If
you
are
an
ART
BUFF,
John
Clements'
Paintings
would
surely
satisfy
your
whims,
being
an
artist
through
experience
he
depends
on
his
own
ideas
and
imaginations
whether
it
be
of
still
life
or
modern
arts,
he's
got
the
ability
to
put
life
and
meaning
into
it.
He
comes
from
a
large
family
on
the
bay
side
of
Wynnum,
Brisbane,
Australia.
John
ironically
believes
that
his
skill
is
innate
and
has
been
enhanced
through
years
of
experience.
He
first
became
interested
in
painting
1977
when
he
started
painting
in
shopping
centers
and
then
began
to
travel
overseas.
Through
Asia
he
painted
with
some
of
the
best
artists
in
the
Philippines
and
his
teacher
Ed
Santuangco.
In
1979
John
then
went
to
art
school
for
one
year
before
returning
back
to
Asia
in
1983
and
started
taking
lessons
by
Al
Marianne.
In
1984
he
traveled
to
Israel
where
he
learned
a
lot
about
modern
art
and
old
masters,
which
is
his
most
liked
along
with
his
teacher
Ed
Santuangco.
After
leaving
Israel
John
started
his
own
art
gallery
in
Asia,
having
exhibits
in
and
around
Asia
and
there
by
making
John
Clements
a
byword
among
art
lovers.
A
nature
lover
by
heart
he
loves
to
paint
landscapes
of
places
he's
been.
Don't
be
surprised
if
you
can
see
most
of
his
subjects
about
Jerusalem
the
place
that
inspired
him
most.
But
when
he's
got
emotional
problems,
don't
bother
asking
him
to
paint,
it's
during
these
times
his
love
is
boating,
fishing
and
the
guitar.
John
has
sold
widely
overseas
and
in
Australia.
In
1991
John
sold
one
of
his
best
works
of
art
"The
Horse
Racing"
to
Trost
Licht
Design
in
Germany
for
$16,000,
where
many
of
his
paintings
have
been
sold.
