“HERCUS” Precision Lathe
9inch x 24 inch
 
This is the most sought after lathe for either a toolmaker or serious hobbyist. It is single phase 1/2 HP operation with belt driven & gear driven speed changers.
 
On machine is noted: Made in South Australia. Machine # 6623
  • In almost mint condition with 3 & 4 jaw chucks, steady and face plate.
  • It is mounted on strong cabinet with castors and has 5 drawers with tooling as per photo.
  • There is also the original manual that came with it.
  • Cuts Threads from 4 to 224 tpi
  • Tooling includes Knirling tool, Drilling Chuck, tapered and straight drill bits, boring and machining bits and tools etc etc (to many to list)
