Anchor
of
Scotland
brand
stranded
embroidery
cottons
along
with
some
Semco
Ace
brand
Rayon
embroidery
threads
&
more!
These
date
from
the
1950's
at
latest
&
are
marked
with
old
colour
numbers
which
DO
NOT
correspond
with
modern
colour
charts.
They
would
be
ideal
for
matching,
restoring,
&/or
finishing
old
embroidered
but
damaged
or
part
worked
linen
items.
Most
skeins
have
their
original
numbers
affixed.
Included
is
at
least
34
skeins
of
cottons,
with
approximately
26
appearing
to
be
new.
Along
with
2
full
&
1
near
full
roll
of
Semco
Rayon
thread
in
pink.
Also
included
are
some
handmade
winders
of
threads
&
other
part
skein
oddments
in
both
cotton
&
rayon,
including
Semco
"Aidu"
thread
sorter
cards
for
their
design
numbers
100
&
85.
There
are
a
number
of
skeins
the
same,
to
suit
large
projects,
in
colours
of
blues,
greys
&
yellows.
Also
worth
noting
is
that
approximately
10
of
the
skeins
are
variegated
coloured,
which
would
be
particularly
useful
for
edging
restorations.
