unworked,
stamped
on
cream
pure
heavyweight
Calico
coloured
cotton,
Ladies
pinafore
style
full
apron.
This
is
very
early
design
number
151,
most
probably
Pre-WWII;
1950's
at
latest.
The
stamped
fabric
features
lovely
florals,
trellis
work
&
butterflies
to
embroider.
2
front
pockets
are
part
of
the
design.
Pocket
placement
marked
on
main
stamping,
pockets
stamped
seperately,
&
to
be
embroidered
&
affixed.
Edges
are
plain,
ready
for
an
applied
lace
or
hand
crocheted
edging.
Bottom
front
is
rounded
into
3
scallops;
1
central,
&
2
sides.
An
excellent
opportunity
to
purchase
an
antique
apron
for
you
to
embroider
to
suit
your
own
colour
preference.

selection
suggestions
are
included
on
a
paper
tag.

No
threads
are
included
with
this
listing.

careful

knowledge
of
basic
sewing
techniques
will
be
needed
to
complete
the
garment
after
all
embroidery
is
completed.

its
age,
the
only
faults
to
note
are
some
slight
storage
fold
marks
upon
the
linen,
&
some
small
brown
marks,
origin
unknown,
which
should
wash
out

the
finished
piece
once
completed.
Linen
still
nicely
starched,
to
make
stitchery
easier.

is
as
a
small
parcel
in
a
cardboard
tough
bag
with
appropriate
inner
packaging
for
cheapest
possible
Australia
wide
postage.
