antique
Fautley's
Art
Needlework
brand
totally
unworked,
stamped
on
cream
pure
linen,
supper
cloth
sized
tablecloth.
This
is
from
the
1950's
at
latest,
to
make
a
93
x
87cm
rectangular
cloth.
The
stamped
fabric
features
a
lovely
floral
theme,
with
little
cottages
&
gardens
within
medallions
to
each
corner,
&
floral
sprigs
along
the
sides.
12
Embroideries
to
complete
in
all.
Edges
inside
the
finished
hemline
are
pierced,
ready
for
a
hand
crochet
edging
inside
the
outer
hem
edge.
No
threads
are
included
with
this
listing.
Images
are
stamp
printed
to
front
&
back
through
the
cloth,
so
any
side
may
be
chosen
to
embroider.

All
is
in
VGC
for
its
age,
the
only
faults
to
note
are
some
fold
marks
from
storage
&
some
small
brown
marks
upon
the
linen,
which
should
wash
out
of
the
finished
piece
once
completed.
It
appears
that
this
item
has
been
laundered
at
one
stage,
as
the
usual
starchiness
of
unworked
craft
linens
isn't
present,
which
may
make
this
cloth
difficult
to
embroider
without
the
use
of
a
hoop
under
each
figural.

Postage
is
as
a
small
parcel
in
a
cardboard
tough
bag
with
appropriate
inner
packaging
for
cheapest
possible
Australia
wide
postage.
