Small
dish
back
stamped,
'Sam
BNTM'.
There
is
also
a
copyright
symbol
and
the
capital
letters
could
also
be
'BNYM'
-
it's
hard
to
say
for
sure
but
please
have
a
look
at
photo
of
this
signature.
This
is
almost
certainly
an
Australian
piece
of
pottery
but
era
is
unknown. Plain
off-white
glaze
on
outside
of
dish
while
interior
has
a
very
attractive,
graphic
design
with
bright
turquoise
background
and
a
dot
pattern
radiating
out
along
the
central
black
part
and
its
wavy
arms. Centre
of
inside
is
a
bit
raised. This
is
not
a
professional,
smooth
piece
of
pottery
-
it
has
rough
spots,
a
deep
round
little
dent
on
outside
with
some
bumpy
bits
as
well
and
the
edge
has
a
rough
spot
&
black
glaze
applied
to
edge
is
patchily
done
&
uneven.
Dish
has
crazing
inside
&
out,
seems
to
be
more
pronounced
on
outside. Measures
11cms
across. This
is
an
imperfect
but
quite
stunning
little
dish
made,
in
all
probability,
by
an
amateur
potter
but
it
definitely
has
a
that
certain
something
&
I
think
buyer
will
love
it. Makes
small
parcel
for
whole
of
Australia
for
$4.60
and
I
combine
postage. |
