IRISH CHAIN QUILT - Quilts were to be found amongst some of the belongings in the travelling trunks of our early settlers. Some of these links with the countries and families left behind, survived to be handed down from generation to generation. Create your own heirloom and stitch our Irish Chain Quilt for your family to treasure in years to come.

STUMPWORK BROOCH - This beautiful brooch was embroidered using a raised technique that the Victorians name Stumpwork embroidery. Originating in the mid 17th century, this elaborate and intricate form of embroidery incorporating a variety of stitches, techniques and materials, is gaining in popularity with the contemporary needleworker. This style of embroidery require patience but the rewards are well worth it.

TERRACOTTA HEN - Ancient, yet contemporary, complex yet simple, an interest in handmade ceramic objects has been rekindled in a craft that has potential for personal expression and a sense of communication with our past. This terracotta hen, can be made at home without expensive equipment and material. Once fired it can be secured to a paling fence mount board or simply hung on a wall to bring the feeling of the country into your home.

PAINTED GLASS BOWLS - This naïve country style design has been especially created to allow you to decorate your glassware by either using only a section or the whole pattern. Simply trace the section of your choice of the entire design (repeating design to cover the area to be decorated) then tape it to the inside of the glassware. Paint the outlines, following the line drawing, then continue as directed in the instructions to create your own unique decorative glassware.

KNITTED PATCHWORK RUG - What better way to keep the winter chills at bay than to snuggle up in this beautiful embroidered patchwork rug. Hand knitted and finished with a crocheted edging.

MELON BASKET - This basket was made from materials found in ordinary suburban backyards. The list supplied is not intended to be comprehensive, just a general guide. It should be emphasised however that although many native plants are suitable, no flora may be picked from national parks.

Although preloved, this fantastic craft book is still in very good condition, especially for its, being very clean and legible (apart from the occasional very tiny mark), having NO creasing or folds, rips or tears, writing, scribble or notes. The front and back covers, along with the spine are also in very good, sturdy condition, just displaying some minimal bookshelf wear due to storage - see scans. I am especially over critical of my books, trying to note as many details as possible - as I know how important even minor details are for collectors/buyers.
