Features.
This
rain
sensor
acts
as
a
switch
to
break
the
circuit
to
the
solenoid
valves
of
the
irrigation
system
when
it
has
rained.
The
controller
continues
to
operate
as
usual
but
the
solenoids
will
not
open
at
the
scheduled
time.
Once
the
hygroscopic
washers
have
dried
sufficiently
the
switch
closes
again
allowing
normal
operation
of
the
irrigation
system.
Easily
installed,
all
necessary
hardware
and
complete
instruction
sheet
included.
Necessary
by
law
in
some
states
this
sensor
will
save
you
water
and
generally
stop
your
system
operating
in
the
rain,
depending
on
your
setting.
The
amount
of
rain
needed
to
activate
the
sensor
is
adjustable.
