Medium
sized
vase
that
reads
underneath,
'Yarra
Glen
Pottery'.
There
is
also a
name
impressed
into
the
clay
that
is
difficult
to
read
or
photograph.
Think
it
begins
with
'M'
or
'N'.
Two-toned,
and
speckled
where
the
colours
meet,
with
simple
incised
pattern
on
the
'front'
which
is
a
very
nice
rich
tan,
this
is
a
very
attractive
&
quite
heavy
vase.
The
other
glaze
colour
is
black
and
this
seems
to
be
overlaid
on
the
tan.
The
speckled
areas
on
the
tan
glaze
look
navy
blue
and
I
think
they
really
make
the
vase
special.
Stands
16.5cms,
across
opening
about
7cms,
across
bottom
8cms
and
around
widest
part
is
38cms.
Very
good
condition,
no
chip/cracks/crazing.
Around
opening
are
a
few
rough
spots
and
some small
greyish
spots but
these
seem
to
be from
manufacture.
Handsome
piece
that
I
think
buyer
will
love.
