Ask seller a question

Question:
Hi - does the case have a MS Windows product key sticker attached ? if so, what operating system version is it ? Might be interested as I have some official new-old-stock item replacement Compaq licensing components regards from Greg

Answer:
No operating system loaded so sorry no MS Windows sticker I was using it with a Linux program for a while but have since upgraded. I do know it will run XP and not Vista its been a PC that I ran tests on.
Question:
Hi Seller, does the computer case have an oem Windows product keys sticker attached ? and if so, what version windows exactly ? regard from Gregory

Answer:
Sorry but no Gregory if it did I would have loaded the software myself. For the opening price listed you would not expect it plus I have listed that it doesn't come with windows loaded was given to me I cleaned it up & tested that's about it
Question:
Hi - Not sure whether I made my question clear but I was not asking about reinstalling Windows, I was asking about a oem product key sticker attached (some easrly compaq presarios have the sticker behind a front panel) Is unusual for a computer case from a major vendor not to have a oem product key sticker attached somewhere I have spare unused oem Compaq win2000 restore sets regards from Gregeory

Answer:
That's okay no sticker has been removed possibly by previous owner. I was going to try it as a linux/clark connect box to filter my internet but didn't work that's why I don't need it anymore. Everything works on it and I have tested by preinstalling windows xp & it will handle it okay. Originally didn't have a cdrom had to source that to be able to load of course.
