Description

TWO VERY UNUSUAL CUT GLASS DISHES.
I have no idea of their age or whether they are actually Vintage or not.

Normally one would see pieces like this on a dresing table or small table holding maybe jewellery pieces or little nick nacks, but I think that these originally may have been made as ashtrays.
Shaped to look like a bunch of grapes, the 'stem' appears to be shaped to hold a cigarette.
I could be wrong, but can see no other reason why it is curved the way it is.
The round design is indented up from underneath giving a smooth surface to the inside of the dishes.
Certainly different in design and shape to usual cut glass small dishes.
Both are in perfect condition with no chips that I can see or feel.
They measure 11cm in length and 8cm at the widest point.
Weighing 200grams.
Postage will be $6.00 well bubblewrapped and sent in a box with pellets to ensure safe arrival.
