reel
tape
is
the
hard
to
find
Original
Broadway
Cast
recording
of
"Carnival".
This
is
an
official
MGM
release
(STC
3946)
in
stereo
and
recorded
at
7.5
ips.
The
reel
to
reel
(open
reel)
tapes
I
am
selling
are
from
my
personal
collection
accumulated
quite
some
time
ago
and
have
been
packed
away
for
several
years.
I
have
spot-checked
each
tape
for
quality
as
well
as
fast
forwarding
them
to
ensure
there
are
no
breaks
or
splices.
All
checked
out
fine.
Some
tapes
have
a
splice
of
sensing
tape
at
the
end
of
side
1.
This
was
to
facilitate
those
tape
recorders
which
have
an
auto
reverse
play
function
but
this
does
not
affect
the
playing
of
the
tapes
on
tape
recorders
which
do
not
have
this
capability.
Most
of
the
tape
boxes
show
signs
of
wear
(rubbing
etc)
and
some
have
slight
splitting
along
the
sides,
but
nothing
too
drastic.
The
tapes
themselves
are
in
very
good
condition.
Some
containers
do
have
the
remains
of
stickers
and
some
have
pen
marks
made
by
the
original
owner
(eg
displaying
the
tapes
runing
time).
I
have

reel-to-reel
tapes
for

these
are
