THE DUST JACKET IS VERY TATTERED AND TAPE REPAIRED, THE FRONT AND BACK ENDPAPERS AND THE FIRST AND LAST FEW PAGES ARE FOXED AND THERE IS AN AWARD PLATE AND A BOOKSELLER'S STAMP. 3. 'STRANGERS AT THE ABBEY' COLLINS 1959 H/C IMPRINT. COLOUR FRONTISPIECE. THE D/J IS MISSING, THE CORNERS ARE BUMPED, THE ENDPAPERS FOXED AND THE PAGES YELLOWED. APART FROM THE DEFECTS NOTED THE COPIES ARE OTHERWISE CLEAN AND FIRM. THE BOOKS WEIGH 725 GRAMS.
