 Description

Up for grabs is a bulk lot of five assorted antique collectable chemist/cure bottles.

That's just $3 per bottle (plus postage)!

I'm sure that everyone has heard that saying about all Australian boys needing a shed - well a shed (or in Dad's case, six sheds!) aren't much use when you can't get passed the open door.

Dad's been collecting bottles for about thirty-plus years now and, like most collectors, has amassed literally thousands - some top class, many more the run of the mill, common varieties. But Mum has now declared that Dad absolutely has to clear some space, otherwise she will do the clearing herself! That means bargains are up for grabs. Because there are so many, we've decided simply to list them as bulk "lucky dip" lots in an effort to clear them in a hurry - to list each one individually would be one monumental task!

This lot includes five assorted chemist/cure bottles, selected from those available, Obviously we can't provide an in depth description of the condition and age of each bottle, but as an indication most have been either dig or found under old houses. We will guarantee, however, that all the bottles will:

  • date from C. 1880-1920 (unless a later date is specifically requested);
  • be applied top, NOT machine made (unless specifically requested)
  • be in very good condition or better - ie: there may be the odd flea bite, tiny chip, small flake, small bruise, minor rubbing or wear, or light scratching/scuffing, but we guarantee no large chips, definately no cracks whatsoever and certainly nothing that looks like it has just come through a war zone!

Because postage is dependant upon weight and destination, we are also unable to provide a postage costing or estimate until we know exactly what you want and where its going. However, rest assured that we do not seek to make money from postage in any way, shape or form, so what you pay for postage will be what it costs us.

Because of the potential package size/weight factor, we are may not be able to undertake to combine postage on more than one of these lots unless they happen to be smaller sized bottles, although you are more than welcome to buy other items from our listings and add them to the package for a combined postage total. Just ask and we'll let you know whether it's possible.

These bulk lots would be perfect for the beginner collector, those with a bit more than a passing interest in antiques & collectables, someone who wants something to put on the mantle piece, decor additions, dressing for a bar, market stall holders or even the online reseller who has the time to relist enerything individually.

Check out the images on this and my other listings to get an idea of the types of bottles likely to be included in these bulk lots, and if you have any queries, please don't hesitate to ask.

Postage: Non breakable items (for example, clothing) are dispatched in either 500 g or 3 kg satchels, depending on weight, and there is no surcharge for multiple purchases in the one package. Breakable items (for example, bottles & collectables) are bubble wrapped, padded and boxed, with postage costs calculated on weight and destination, as per Australia Post costs. Again there is no surcharge on multiple purchases in the one package. This can save the buyer $$$, so don't forget to check out my other listings - you never know just what you can't possibly live without!

Don't forget to check out my other items! - loads more antiques & collectables, women's and children's clothing and other goodies up for grabs. I am always willing to combine postage to save you money. Remember - buying more than one item means you save on postage costs - I only charge for one lot of postage and packing no matter how many items you buy!
