This
Royal Albert trio
is in
the
Primulette
pattern
and
there
is
a
light
green
trim
around
the
saucer
and
plate,
and
also
on
the
rim,
foot,
and
handle
of
the
cup.
The
trio
is
in
excellent
condition
with
no
chips,
cracks,
crazing,
pattern
wear,
or
utensil
marks,
and
there
are
no
signs
of
it
ever
having
been
used.
The
cup
has
a
beautiful
ring
when
tapped
lightly.
The
trio
is the
standard size in
the
Countess shape
and
the
cup measures 6.8
cms high
and 8.2 cms across
the
top
opening.
The
saucer
is
14.3
cm
in
diameter
and
the
plate
is
15.7 cms
across.
The
backstamp
is
the
same
on all
pieces
and
reads
"Royal
Albert,
Bone
(crown
symbol)
China,
England,
Primulette,
Reg.
No.
843317".
The
stamp
is
a
little
more
worn
on
the
cup
than
the
saucer
and
plate.
There's
a
green
X
and
Y
on
the
back
of
the
plate
as
well,
and
an
R
and
Y
on
the
saucer.
This
backstamp
was
used
between
1935
and
1945,
and
the
number
dates
it
to
the
early
1940s.
Of
course,
some
patterns
weren't
actually
registered
until
after
they'd
been
in
use
for
several
years
but
this
gives
a
rough
idea
of
the
dates.
Postage
will
be
at
actual
cost.
Registered

is
available
for
an
extra
$2.80,
and

with
a

of
over $50.
I'm
always
willing

and

work
out
the
cheapest
way
to
post
them
to
you.

appropriately.
Please
feel
free
to
ask
questions
or

request
more
