Henry
Crabbe
is
a
part-time
policeman
who
runs
a
restaurant
called
'Pie
in
the
Sky'.
His
first
love
is
food
and
cooking,
but
he
faces
constant
interruptions
in
running
the
restaurant
whenever
he
is
ordered
to
solve
crimes
(a
regular
occurence).
An
unlikely
storyline,
but
it
works
beautifully,
mainly
thanks
to
the
excellent
cast
(Richard
Griffiths
plays
Henry).
This
is
a
gentle
series,
with
lots
of
entertainment
value
and
some
cracking
recipes!
It's
a
pleasure
to
get
all
episodes
in
this
well-presented
boxed
set.
Highly
recommended
(try
watching
it
with
a
dish
of
olives
and
a
glass
of
wine!)
