This
is
a
Xeon
3050
CPU,
the
Xeon
designation
means
it
is
better
quality
than
the
equivalent
standard
CPU
as
they
make
them
from
the
same
wafer
(size
of
a
CD/DVD)
as
the
standard
CPU
but
pick
the
chips
from
the
centre
area
where
the
quality
of
the
silicon
and
manufacturing
is
much
better
than
it
is
in
the
outer
area
of
the
wafer,
they
also
have
some
on
chip
code
optimizations
that
improve
performance
when
used
with
business
and
engineering
software
such
as
CAD
(AutoCAD,
Solidworks,
TurboCAD
etc)
and
as
such
are
sold
to
be
used
in
business
computing,
this
makes
it
an
all
rounder
as
it
can
be
used
for
business
and
home
PC
use.
This
will
still
work
in
any
socket
775
motherboard
even
if
the
manufacturer
doesn't
show
it
in
their
qualified
vendor
list
for
CPUs,
the
motherboard
that
this
was
used
in
(I
will
be
listing
it
soon)
did
not
have
Xeon
CPUs
listed
but
it
recognised
it
and
displayed
the
correct
details
during
POST
(Power
On
Self
Test)
including
showing
it
as
a
Xeon
CPU.
The
specifications
are:
Socket
775
(LGA775),
2.13GHz
core
speed,
1066MHz
BUS
speed,
2MB
level
2
(L2)
cache
(1MB
per
core
shared),
voltage
range
0.85-1.3625V.

The
plastic
cover
for
the
back
of
the
CPU
to
protect
it
during
transport
is
in
place
and
is
easy
to
remove
before
installation.
There
is
no
heatsink
or
fan
included,
it
was
used
with
a
Zalman
CNPS9700LED
which
kept
it
below
45oC
at
full
load
and
30oC
at
idle,
I
have
kept
the
Zalman
for
my
current
PC
seeing
as
it
works
so
well
at
keeping
the
CPU
cool.
This
has
never
been
overclocked
as
I
like
my
PC
to
run
stable,
have
a
long
life
and
not
be
a
bluescreen
machine.
I
have
never
had
any
problems
with
it
and
only
removed
it
to
upgrade.
If
you
have

I
will
