HAND PAINTED ABALONE SHELL FROM TASMANIA.

No I did not "ruin" a beautiful shell!!!

These had been "dumped" at an Abalone Farm and had been very "weathered"!!

So hopefully I have turned an "Ugly Duckling" into a "Beautiful Swan"

and given it a new lease of life!!!!

This one is Brown and Gold.
 
The photo is not showing the true colour...it is darker than has come out...I will get another one taken!!!
 
These shells besides being a display piece, make a lovely
container for your Crystals or Jewellery!
