This
handturned
wooden
plate
has
been
reVamped
by
me
into
a
cute
and
practical
pin
cushion.
I
have
re-oiled
and
stained
the
plate
which
brought
to
life
some
scratches
which
give
it
a
really
old
and
well
loved/used
feel.
I
have
handsewn
and
added
to
the
centre
of
the
plate,
a
padded
cushion
made
from
a
tonal
burgandy
quilting
material.
NOTE:
the
scratches
brought
out
from
the
oil
and
stain
are
smooth
to
touch
with
no
snags.
The
plate
is
19cm
in
diameter
(10cm
diameter
cushion)
and
7cm
in
total
height.
The
first
picture
shows
the
bare
plate
before
its
make-over,
the
next
three
pictures
show
the
reVamped
piece
with
embellishments.

gives
an
example
of
its
use
(accessories
not
included
in
auction).
