the
most
popular

for

that
have
been
purchased
on

in
the
run
up
to
Christmas
2008.
OZtion's
sales
throughout
November
and
December
reveal
that
the
Nintendo
DS,
games
and
accessories
were
the
most
popular
items
this
year,
outselling
the
other
rival
consoles
by
a
large
margin.
Men
around
Australia
can
expect
plenty
of
DVDs
under
the
Christmas
tree,
mostly
from
the
TV
shows
/series
and
comedy
genres,
while
women
can
look
forward
to
opening
jewellery,
although
the
fastest
selling
female
item
has
been
shoulder
bags
and
handbags.
While
the
top
ten
most
popular
items
contain
a
large
amount
of
electronic
equipment,
the
veteran
children's
toy,
Lego,
has
also
been
a
very
popular,
being
the
number
one
toy
sold
through
OZtion
during
this
period.

has
been
some
subtle
changes
to
what
sold
well
in
2007.
The
Nintendo
DS
has
replaced
MP3
players
as this
Christmas's
must
have
item,
with
other
electronic
items
like

phones
and
GPS

devices also
entering
the
top
ten.
The
most
popular
women's
items
are
bags,
both
shoulderbags
and
handbags,
as
well
as
a
jewellery
for
a
lot
of
lucky
people."

was
excited
to
see
my
personal
favourite
from
when
I
was
a
boy,
Lego,
included
and faring
well
against
all
the
new
technology,
as
well
as
Bratz
Dolls,
which
have
been
a
favourite
for
the
girls. A
large
number
of
people
have
gone
for
gift
vouchers
this
year,
which
will
ensure
people
will
be
able
to
purchase
what
they
really
need
after
Christmas."
