Rescue the Queen Promotion Terms & Conditions

The OZtion Rescue the Queen promotion is a game whereby members have to browse through listings on OZtion looking for Gold Queens in the $10 Auction and $50 Auction categories. Gold Queens will be placed on items in the $10 Auction and $50 Auction categories when the promotion begins and on any new $10 Auction and $50 Auction items listed during the promotion period. To receive Queen points a member must first bid on, and then be successful in winning an auction item in the $10 Auction and $50 Auction categories.

Bonus points can be earned if the item is won or purchased and the item is either a Front Page Featured or Category Special listed item. An item won/purchased with a Queen equals the following points scale contained in the table below.

Points Structure

Front Page Promotion Items = 23 Queen Points

Category Special Items = 31 Queen Points

The promotion is subject to the following Rules & Conditions. By entering the promotion you will be deemed to have accepted the rules and conditions.

Terms and Conditions of Entry

RULES & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

1. The Promotion commences on 4 June 2007 12:01am AEST and closes on 11 June 2007 11:59pm AEST. (“Promotion Period”)
2. Entry is open to all Australian residents over the age of 18. Staff of OZtion or their partners and children will not be eligible to enter.
3. To be eligible to enter you must be an OZtion member (free) and your account must be in good standing, not have any overdue invoices. Your Rating score must not be less than 15 or you must have at least 1 account verification and you must not have any disputes against you during the promotion period or within 31 days of the promotion ending.
4. Prizes included are: 1st Prize $250 OZtion Shopping Voucher or Account Credit and 6GB MP3 Player valued at $149, total value $399.  2nd Prize $100 OZtion Shopping Voucher or Account Credit and Canon all-in-one printer valued at $77, total value $177.  3rd Prize $60 OZtion Shopping Voucher or Account Credit and Canon all-in-one printer valued at $77, total value $137.  4th-7th place will each receive a Hoyts Double Movie Pass valued at $28 each. Entrants who finish between positions 8 and 100 will be entered into a draw and have the chance to win one of the following prizes:  4 x Hoyts Double Movie Passes valued at $28 each. 5 x The Queen DVD valued at $30 each. 1 x 6GB MP3 player valued at $149.  The total prize pool is $1236.
5. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
6. No correspondence will be entered into.
7. Winners will be drawn in order of prize value at 11:00am on 11 July 2007 from all entries at the premises of OZtion Pty Ltd.
8. Winners will be notified by email and published on the OZtion website by 3:00pm 11 July 2007 and must be claimed no later than 1 month after the winners are announced.
9. Each successful winning bidder will automatically receive an entry into the prize draw.
10. Any unclaimed prizes will be entered into an unclaimed prize draw on 11 August 2007 to distribute the prizes if they are unclaimed by that date.
11. Prizes will only be delivered in Australia and the winners should allow up to 28 working days from the prize draw for delivery of their prize.
12. If for any reason these promotions are not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries.
