FROM MENDI, HIGHLANDS OF NEW GUINEA
 

 

         This is a Rare Old Item. Kina Shells were Used as a Bride Price, As a Form of Shell Money and Chiefs would Wear Them as Neck and Chest Decorations to Display Their Wealth and Prestige.
         It was Collected in Mendi and is 18.5cm Wide. See Photos.
