Cool
Ties are
very
popular
for
keeping
cool
during
summer.
Cool
Ties
work
on
the
principle
of
evaporative
cooling.
Once
the
crystals
are
soaked,
the
moisture gradually
moves to
the
surface
and
evaporates,
resulting
in
an
effective
body
cooler.
In
areas
of
high
humidity
use
two
or
three
Cool
Ties,
keeping
one
in
a
refrigerator
and
as
soon
as
one
warms
up,
exchange
it
with
the
one
in
the
fridge.
Wear
the
Cool
Tie
around
the
neck
or
head
and
it
will
bring
great
relief
from
the
heat.
The
time
of
effectiveness
depends
on
the
humidity
in
the
air.
If
the
air
is
very
humid,
the
Cool
Tie
will
need
more
frequent
re-wetting.
Ideal
for
golfing,
tennis,
bike
riding,
gardening,
hiking,
heavy
hard
work,
fishing
and
more.
To
activate
and
get
ready
for
use,
just
soak
in
water
for approximately
25
minutes.
For
very
hot
days, your
Cool
Tie may
be
refrigerated
(but
NEVER
frozen!).
I
did
try
making
the
dual
tube
type,
but
was
not
happy
with
the
effect.
I
found
that
they
did
not
sit
well
on
the
neck,
had
room
for
fewer
crystals,
were
hard
to
fill,
and
dried
out
too
quickly
to
be
much
use.
This
Cool
Tie
has
good
long
tails,
for
firm
tying.
It
is
at
least
90
cm
long
in
total,
with
approximately
50cm
of
length
with
crystals.
The
material
used
is
stretchy,
and
mostly
cotton,
for
comfort
and
to
maximise
the
cooling
effect
with
natural
fibres.
I
can
make
Cool
Ties
in
a
variety
of
colours. At
the
moment,
I
have
white,
orange,
aqua,
royal
blue,
pastel
pink,
pastel
blue,
pastel
green,
and
rainbow.

them
in

sheet,
to
help
you enjoy
your
purchase
for
years.
The
crystals
in
Cool
Ties
are
small
and
dry
when
you
start, but
when
wet
they
swell
up
-
a
lot.
The
crystals
are
sewn
into
the
Cool
Ties,
but
beware:
it
is
possible
that
if
a
small
child
managed
to
cut
or
tear
the
material
and
swallow
the
crystals
whilst
crystals
are
small
and
dry,
they
could
swell
up
and
injure
or
kill
a
child.
This
is
true
of
all
such
crystals,
including
these
crystals,
the garden
grade
crystals
you
might
buy
for
your
pot
plants,
and
some
toys
that
swell
up
when
wet.

be
very
careful
with
all
such
products
around
your
children
and
pets.
