Holden certainly gave Group C racing an unforgettable send-off in the VK’s which were the fastest and finest of the Commodore breed.

They rolled out a brand new pair of sparkling Day-Glo orange and white VK’s for the last three big events of the calender- the Sandown 500, James Hardie Bathurst 1000 and Surfers Paradise 300.

Brock and Perkins claimed wins in the Sandown and Bathurst enduros and Brock won the Surfers Paradise 300.

The highly detailed, accurate design and production of the Classic Carlectables 1:18 scale replica of the 1984 James Hardie 1000 Bathurst Winner will be a “must have” addition to many diecast collections.
