the
turquoise-coloured
lagoons

Tahitian
black
pearl,
jewel

the

a
living
symbol

hundreds
of
years,
the
black
pearl
had
a
reputation
for
exceptional
value
and
rarity
and
so,
natural
black
pearl
was
known
as
the
"Pearl
of
Queens"
and
the
"Queen
of

naturally
coloured
and
are
exactly
as
they
were,

they
came
out

They
are

Semi-Round
in
Form
-
one
of
the
rarest
and
most
expensive

the

scale

imperfections)
and
would
be

on
the

It
is
bright
Blue-Grey
in
colour,

the
water.
It
is
very
shiny
with
a
excellent

is
Graded
A/B
on
the
Tahitian
scale
(around
20%
surface
imperfections)
and
would
be
graded
AA
on
the
Japanese.
It
is
Steel-Grey
in
colour
with
very
slight
Pink
overtones
and
is
lovely
and
shiny,
with
a
very
good
lustre.Pearl

is
Graded
B
on
the
Tahitian
scale
(less
than
33%
surface
imperfections)
and
would
be
graded
AA
on
the
Japanese.
It
is
a
sultry
Grey-Black
in
colour,
with
Bronze
overtones
and
measures
8.7mm
in
diameter.
It
has
a
soft
shine,
with
a
good
lustre.These

solid,
hallmarked,
shining
Sterling
silver
bracelet.
