currently

I
believe
these
are
Australian
army
overalls
as
they
belonged
to
a
now
very
high
ranking Australian
Pilot,
but
the
label
does
say
USAF???
I
have
measured
these
overalls
laying
flat
on
a
table
as
below:
Firstly,
I
found
it
a
bit
difficult
to
measure
the
armpit
to
armpit
area,
because
usually
when
I
measure
this,
I
can
lay
the
clothing
item
on
the
table
(nice
and
flat)
and
the
measurement
is
taken
on
the
actual
armpit
seam.
However,when
I
tried
to
do
this
with
these
overalls,
it
would
appear
the
material
in
the
back
is
more
substantial
than
in
the
chest
and
I
can
actually
splay
the
back
material
out
past
the
side
seam
which
seems
to
increase
the
armpit
width.
I've
looked
on
the
back
of
these
overalls
and
there
is
almost
a
pleat
or
extension
down
either
shoulder
blade,
obviously
designed
to
give
the
extra
adjustment
when
the
wearer
is
flexing
forward
(an
unusual
and
great
little
feature)
Anyhow,
if
I
just
measure
the
seam
to
seam
it
is
52cms,
if
I
go
the
full
splayed
armpit
to
armpit
it
is
58cms.
I
had
a
few
issues
measuring
the
chest
as
well,
because
of
the
splaying
back,
but
if
I
take
the
measurement
with
the
top
looking
nice
and
flat it
is
still
52cms
but
you
can
see
a
touch
of
the
back
material
just
past
the
seam
(otherwise
I
would
have
to
tuck
the
material
behind
the
seam
which
would
pucked
the
back
up).
