and
produces
large,

cobs
with
extrenely
sweet

Keeps
well.
Plant
in
blocks
as
the
tall
plants
need
to
be
close
for
wind
pollination.
Sow
Spring
to
early
Summer,
or
late
Summer
to
late
Spring
in
tropics.
Sow
direct
after
last
frosts.
Sow
in
pairs
in
damp
soil.
Sow
25mm
deep
and
25cm
apart.
Do
not
water
until
seedlings
appear.
Prefers
sunny
position
in
well
drained
soil.
Harvest
when
fine
'silk'
has
just
browned.
If
growing
more
than
one
variety
it
is
important
to
